COMMENTS Succulent Flowers
Holy maccaroni!! Great colors, and a great reminder for me too...I live in Norway, and it looks like spring is lightyears away...Needed thisone. Posted by alfred dumben at March 17, 2004 12:23 PMbeautiful! Posted by rachael at March 17, 2004 12:51 PMpainterly at minimal DOF - gives a nice threedimensional feeling with the blur at the edges Posted by Andreas at March 17, 2004 01:26 PMG, It's dreary here today in Chicagoland... it snowed this morning -- and now the temps are hovering just above freezing, making for some nice muddy slush -- not a good thing to run my dog through... Anyway -- your image brings color and freshness to my day -- thanks... I am a bit distracted by the white blobby thingy in the upper center/rightish... makes me wonder if there was someone standing in the background with a t-shirt on... Posted by Bob at March 17, 2004 01:47 PMLove these last two posts. Spring is in full bloom here: cherry, plum and peach trees line the streets and the odd magnolia can be found as well. Posted by Kemp at March 17, 2004 03:35 PMThis was taken inside a greenhouse. The white area is probably a window. Everything looks better big and this photo is no exception. At a big size the white is less of a distraction and you can really see the detail in the parts of the flower that is sharply focussed. It's going to be a long while yet before we see blossoms on the trees! It snowed last night. Posted by This Here Human at March 17, 2004 04:12 PMsnowed here too -- i'm sick and tired of the gloom.... more flowers, please!!!!! Posted by Bob at March 17, 2004 04:40 PMsigh* how pretty...
