I took a few hours off today and had a wonderful walk. It was open jacket weather and I saw my first robin of spring.

"On Beauty" Zadie Smith - A gift from the publisher that arrived the day after I finished reading "White Teeth". Amazing timing.
"The Autobiography of Malcolm X" - Found for 50 cents in the most unlikely charity shop in Portland.
"The Secret Life of Bees" Sue Monk Kidd - We sold a stack of books in exchange for credit at a used bookstore. This was my choice but I still have remaining credit.

"Women in Caribbean History" Verene A. Shepherd - I bought this today at "A Different Booklist" while on my awesomely long walk.
