It is raining today which is just as well as I over-exerted myself yesterday in an attempt to stuff as much spring into the day as possible. Also I planted peas and they need the water.

I walked a bit off path yesterday to stop at a public garden I like and shot off 2 1/2 rolls of film in record time. There is something very hopeful and optimistic about a bare garden in spring. You can see all that potential bursting through the soil as the green overtakes the brown. I like the look of the empty stakes waiting to be filled with vines and the look of bare mulch before it is covered with foliage.
