Optimistic Cynic I

So many aspects of my life are so unbelievably awesome right now I can't help but be suspicious. It's hard to live without even the tiniest lurking concern after the constant stream of goodness followed by badness that was Aug 2004-Nov 2005. But still I remain an optimistic cynic.

Song: Was listening to one of my current song obsessions "Color Bars" Elliott Smith while working when my brother, who was working in the adjacent room stated that Elliott Smith was "...growing on him." I took that as a challenge and so we've been listening to a selection of songs for the later half of the afternoon. Sadly, when I put on "A Woman's Love" by Carla Thomas the words "That's better" escaped from his mouth. I try.
