It's hard to gauge scale here with a little boy standing alongside but this Good Humor truck was the tiniest little truck I have ever seen, somewhere between a Dickie Dee bike and a Mr. Softee truck. I took this one just outside the Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago, a greenhouse and garden I have longed to visit but keep missing. Unfortunately we got there only a few minutes before closing and I missed my chance AGAIN. Fortunately, we found an open gate and I got to walk around a really gorgeous side garden before leaving. I snapped a load of Polaroids and medium format stuff there before we had to head out of the city towards home.
